Samaire Armstrong was born on October 31 1980 in Japan. At the age of three she declared to the video camera that she wanted to be an actress. This was however not persued for years, but she did some acting in both high school and at college, performing in stage productions of for example The Hobbit.
During her school years, Samaire and her family moved around a lot and this brought her to places such as Hawaii, Arizona and of course Japan.
