However, instead of enrolling in school, he hired an acting coach, signed with a personal manager and soon landed the lead in the NBC movie-of-the-week, Growing Up Brady, playing Barry Williams (Greg Brady).

    Samaire Armstrong was born on October 31 1980 in Japan. At the age of three she declared to the video camera that she wanted to be an actress. This was however not persued for years, but she did some acting in both high school and at college, performing in stage productions of for example The Hobbit.

    During her school years, Samaire and her family moved around a lot and this brought her to places such as Hawaii, Arizona and of course Japan. It was here that she was trained in the martial arts of sword practicing and judo, starting when she was 5 years old. This she has continued through the years and still practices once a week. She says:"We travelled alot. I was always the smaller white girl and I was picked on so I was in a lot of fights"
